Torah - From Noah to Babel

Chapter 6 begins with the story of the flood that God sent to cleanse the earth of mankind's sins and to destroy the wicked who were corrupting the earth.

After the flood, we read in chapter 7 that God showed mercy to the prophet Noah and all the other creatures by telling the prophet Noah to take a male and female of every kind of animal so that they could multiply after the deluge.

In Chapter 8, we read that after the flood, the prophet Noah saw God's mercy, greatness, and compassion for humans and other creatures. The prophet Noah brought a sacrifice and presented it to God as a thanksgiving offering.

In Chapter 9, we learn about the covenant that was made between God and the prophet Noah after the deluge.

In Chapters 10 and 11, we read how nations, tribes, and peoples came to be on earth and how languages developed.

In summary, these chapters 6 to 11, are chapters from which we learn about God's mercy toward all men and all creatures. We learn that God will indeed be angry with us if we sin, but He is also a loving and merciful God who forgives sins. We also learn from these chapters the obedience of the prophet Noah to God and his gratitude for what God has done and his offering of a sacrifice to God in thanksgiving. God is a loving and merciful God towards all people and all creatures, but at the same time, he is a just God who punishes the wicked for their sins.
